Sir Robin of Locksley, defender of downtrodden Saxons, runs afoul of Norman authority and is forced to turn outlaw. With his band of Merry Men, the young Robin Hood robs from the rich, gives to the poor, and foils the cruel Sir Guy of Gisbourne, keeping the nefarious Prince John off the throne. Along with this comrades Little John and Friar Tuck, he fights against the injustices dealt by the Sheriff of Nottingham and the Bishop of Hereford through cleverness and mischievousness, all the while striving for the love of Maid Marian and the peace of the forest.
