Diabetes is a condition wherein the body has high blood sugar levels but its ability to convert blood sugar to energy is not functioning well. It's either because the body cannot produce insulin or may produce insulin but not much as well as it can be because even if the body produces enough insulin, it is not effectively utilized by your cells to convert blood sugar to energy.
