"Huge laughs and great science—the kind of smart, funny stuff that makes Jon Scieszka a legend."
—Mac Barnett, author of Battle Bunny and The Terrible Two
Frank Einstein (kid-genius scientist and inventor) and his best friend Watson, along with Klink (a self-assembled artificial intelligence entity), create the BrainTurbo to power-boost the human body and help their baseball-pitching pal Janegoodall make the team. But when Klank (a mostly self-assembled and artificial almost intelligence entity) goes missing, they must first rescue their robot pal and stop T. Edison—Frank’s classmate and archrival—from stealing their latest invention and using it against them!

Jon Scieszka and Brian Biggs narrate this third installment of a series that blends science and stories about Frank Einstein and his friends. Scieszka narrates in a clear voice full of enthusiasm as Frank learns about the human body in the hope of figuring out a way to improve his friend Janegoodall's pitching so she can get the starting spot on the baseball team. Biggs creates the voices for Klink and Klank through a filter that makes them sound appropriately robotic, which is fun but doesn't quite make up for the loss of his informative illustrations in the transition from print to audio. Even with occasional moments of confusion, the production is an agreeable combination of facts and good-natured silliness. A.F. © AudioFile 2015, Portland, Maine
